Cambiando de tema, se ha anunciado para Japón un nuevo conjunto en DVD que contendrá episodios del anime Pokémon Best Wishes (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ) y episodios de la serie original de kanto. Dicho conjunto estará constituido por 8 DVD y será lanzado a mediados de enero del 2012.
El conjunto se llamará Pocket Monsters BW Pokémon TV Anime Collection DVD ～Pokémon Battle～ (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ ポケモンTVアニメコレクションDVD ～ポケモンバトル～). Cada DVD contiene 2 episodios cada uno. Uno de Pokémon Best Wishes y uno de la serie original de Kanto. El DVD puede ser adquirido por separado o como un set completo que costará ¥ 3,192.

- DVD 1: SL 17 - The island of giant Pokémon / BW 16 - rematch at the Nacrene Gym.
