Poke9mon, my small arctic town was taken over. I rmeeebmr when we swapped tag, red rover, football, and the swings (which everyone raced to) for the trading card game, and later on arguing about which version of the game was better (yellow, represent). there was one kid, a grade above me who knew everything about every version. he'd grab your gameboy, hand it back with 100 extra poke9 balls, or (if you had just started playing) a bicycle, and if you had pikachu as a starter, he'd advise against evolving because its stupid . Ah the memories, im finishing up my year as a graphic design student, and the kid who knew everything about poke9mon is now the town drunk. I miss the 90 s
